Fall bucket list final update!
1. Costume Bentley
“Oh, sorry, I didn’t see you there. I’m just modeling my custom, one-of-a-kind Lepredog costume, which I will be wearing every Notre Dame football game, to various costume contests, on Saint Patrick’s Day, and maybe other days when I’m feeling particularly lucky. Just for fun.” – Bentley, who doesn’t hate this costume at all.
I took him to visit my grandma, which delighted and confused the other elderly folks in her care center.
2. Decorate Pumpkins
The dogs were more excited to see if I had a cookie than to pose with my pumpkin.
3. Roast Pumpkin Seeds
I went into detail on my adventures in roasting pumpkin seeds on my last update to this list.
4. Watch Scary Movies
From horror classics to horror remakes, I watched an impressive amount of never-before-seen horror flicks this season. I still wasn’t brave enough to watch Hush, but I pretty much always had a movie on in the background–while I did my makeup, while I wrote (or didn’t write blogs), while I cleaned, while I got ready to go out. Alien, Fright Night, It Follows, The Legend of Hell House, The Last Girl, I Am the Pretty Thing that Lives in the House, The Witch, etc. I started but didn’t finish The Axe Murders of Villisca partially because it was boring and partially because I was going to be late for drinks with friends if I delayed any longer.
5. Play with Halloween Makeup
I’m really happy with this fun candy corn Halloween look I managed to create with makeup I already had in my collection. So now I know why people buy those palettes with bright yellow shades, as my lack of yellow resulted in a more golden tone in the middle.
I did try and fail to use false lashes. Maybe I need to add “Learn how to wear false lashes” to my next bucket list.
